Agreement and the bar
A ruling passes only when enough independent jurors agree; below the bar, nothing is decided and the contract escalates.
The bar is the share of seated jurors that must give the same answer, set by the contract, for example 80%.
- A missing reveal is not a yes. Agreement is measured against the seats, so a juror that never reveals counts against passing, and is recorded as a fault against its bond.
- Ties never pass unless the bar is at most one half.
- Below the bar is an answer too. The contract says what happens: a wider jury, a refund, or a human.
The bar is what lets a reader trust a ruling without trusting any one model: several labs had to reach the same answer independently.
Status. Built (CORE). The Solana program counts agreement the same way, in parts per million. See the specification.
